Demand for corrugated packaging in Europe is set to continue growing, but it is unlikely to grab a large share of the plastic packaging market without a highly focussed effort, according to a new report into the state of the packaging sector.
It is predicted that globally the packaging industry sector will increase in size by a solid single digit percentage. With the value in 2017 in the region of $851 billion, that’s a huge potential employment market. It will be millennials who employers will be looking to, to fill the roles.

We know we need to recycle more. Even if we’re not that interested in recycling, the era of fortnightly bin collections is forcing the most reluctant of us to make an effort. Some areas in the UK are moving to monthly bin collections – the pressure is even greater to recycle our waste.
