Simon Southern of Neil Osment Associates (NOA) delivered a key address to attendees of the prestigious European Federation of Corrugated Board Manufacturers (FEFCO) Summit in London this month (4-6 June). One of the most experienced professionals in the corrugated industry, Simon joined NOA after the acquisition of his market research, intelligence and strategic consultancy firm PRISM at the end of last year.

More than 300 leading packaging professionals from around the world attended the ‘Re-igniting the Flame’ themed summit and gathered to hear Simon’s presentation on ‘Corrugated Market Prospects’ which covered a range of topics including the current European business and economic environment, forecasts for the European corrugated industry, market and country prospects and Simon’s view of future opportunities and challenges for organisations working in the industry.

Simon will be working with Neil Osment and his team at NOA for the next two years as part of what he describes as a “relatively soft landing into retirement.”
